We are closely monitoring the evolving situation across the Middle East, with particular attention to developments impacting the wider region. Our first priority at Aramex is the safety and wellbeing of our people, partners, and customers.
We have put proactive measures in place to keep our operations running as smoothly as possible, and our teams on the ground are working with care and caution to ensure continuity where it’s safe to do so.
At this stage, shipments into and out of Australia and New Zealand are not impacted, and all last mile domestic deliveries are on track.
We’ll continue to monitor developments and share updates as required.

Temporary Import Duty for Shipments to the U.S.
We would like to update you on an important change affecting the import cost when sending parcels to the United States.
What’s Changing?
-
As of 24 February 2026, the United States have introduced a temporary 10% ad valorem import duty on the majority of goods entering the United States
-
It is scheduled to apply for 150 days, unless updated by U.S. authorities
-
This replaces the previous IEEPA tariffs that have been in place since 2025
We recommend reviewing the official announcement to view the list of goods excluded from the duty: Fact Sheet - President Donald J. Trump Imposes a Temporary Import Duty.
Keeping up to date
As this is a temporary measure and further details may become available, Aramex will continue to monitor updates from U.S. authorities and share any significant changes that may impact your shipments.
If you would like to access further details, we recommend reviewing the official U.S. channels for updates, including the White House Executive Orders page.
Please note that Aramex will continue to deliver to the United States, and we remain ready to support your international shipping needs.
