About us
It was in 1983 that New Zealander, Bill McGowan, saw a market for a locally owned and operated courier company to provide reliable courier services to businesses in the Hawke’s Bay region. With a passion for freight and logistics, and a ‘delight the customer at the door’ mentality, the Fastway Couriers brand was born.
In 1993 Fastway began operating in Australia and over 20 years later Fastway became part of the Aramex family, a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Our network includes 29 regional franchises and over 800 franchise partners across the country, from Cairns to Perth and almost everywhere in between.
To leverage off the passion, innovation and opportunities that Aramex presents, in 2019 we began a complete re-brand making the transition from Fastway Couriers to Aramex Australia official.
Although we still offer the same friendly service, we have a spectrum of new opportunities available for customers large and small.
Business as usual
Aramex Australia will still have the same locally owned and operated Regional Franchisees and friendly couriers but will now able to offer global opportunities.
Most importantly, we’ve retained our teams and knowledge and will continue to focus on what’s important to our customers – no matter where they are.
